Warranty terms and conditions, warranty and post-warranty service

Standard warranty (included in delivery)

The standard warranty on JollyNAS, JollySAN and JollyDAS disk arrays (hereinafter .product. or .products.) is limited to 3 years from date of delivery (hereinafter .warranty period.). Warranty service is carried out in service center of supplier. Warranty covers spare parts and work of technician. Warranty does NOT covers failure incurred by unskilled or inconsiderate handling with products.

Claim for application of warranty expires in following cases, too :

  • loss of delivery or warranty document
  • when product is mechanically damaged
  • by exposition of product to overvoltage
  • the product was used in environment which is out of operational conditions due to technical specification (dust, humidity or temperature)
  • when unskilled installation, handling, operation is carried out
  • when maintenance of product is ommited
  • when unskilled configuration action is carried out

It is possible to carry out the service action on-site on request of customer. Expenditure (travel costs to service site) of such a service action will be covered by customer (spare parts and work are free in warranty period).

Standard response time during warranty period is NBD (Next Business Day). Faster response times (warranty of shorter response time) or time to repair (SLA) can be provided based on separate service agreement or SLA.
